Unfortunately we have had to cancel Introduction to Library Science for our Fall semester. I am contacting all those currently registered for the course. The rest of the courses are a go :)

LTA 214 book alert!

Hi to all those who in LTA 214. Unfortunately the wrong book was ordered and placed on the shelf for your cataloging class at the bookstore. Those have been removed and the correct book ordered. It won't arrive for a little bit so until then we'll place a copy on reserve at the library and we're working at perhaps having copies of the chapters available until the books are ready.

I know that seven of you have already bought the book. Please return it to the bookstore.

Welcome Back!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the beginning (almost!) of the Fall 2008 semester. I'm back in the office and will begin responding to phone calls on Monday during the day. Thanks for your patience.

A couple notes:

1. Please encourage everyone you know interested in our program to register for LTA 121.
2. Those interested in practicums - there's still plenty of time to set them up.
3. For those with Monday and Tuesday classes - remember that you will not have classes on labor day and the day after.
4. The website does need updating, we've had a little snafu with my getting access to it but soon that will be fixed and I'll get it up to date.

Full classes

Hi everyone,

There is no waitlist for courses that have filled up. If you have run across a full class (such as Library Materials) just keep trying to add the class at different times - someone may drop the class. If you need the class to graduate shortly and can not get in please contact me directly - I'm not sure I can do anything but I can look into it.

I know many of you have been emailing and leaving voicemails recently - unfortunately my grandmother passed earlier this week and I found out just as I returned from vacation. So, I will not be responding to anyone for a few days while arrangements are made.
