Audiovisual/Adult Information Desk Assistant, Schaumburg Township District Library

Seeking service-oriented individuals for a limited number of part-time hours at the Audiovisual Information and Adult Information desks. Hours for the Audiovisual Information desk are Thursdays 6-10; 1st, 3rd, 5th Fridays 6-10; 2nd Sundays 4:30-9; 3rd Sundays 4:45-9. Adult Information desk hours are Wednesdays 12-4; 2nd & 4th Fridays 4-10; 2nd Saturdays 9:45-5:15. The Information Desk Assistant is responsible for assisting and fulfilling the patrons’ need for materials, information, or services. Duties include helping patrons locate materials, reserve items, place interlibrary loans, register patrons for library programs; schedule Library meeting rooms; and set up equipment for meeting rooms. The position starts at $11.39 per hour; LTA preferred.
