Job Opportunity - Portland Cement Association

LIBRARY ASSISTANT PORTLAND CEMENT ASSOCIATION The Portland Cement Association (PCA), a major national trade association, is seeking a part-time, detail-oriented individual with library experience to work in the organization’s extensive research library. PCA conducts market development, engineering, research, education and public affairs programs. The position involves primarily technical services-related responsibilities, including processing of new materials and interlibrary loans, circulation, photocopying, scanning, shelving, journal routing and data entry.


Qualifications: Excellent computer skills, high level of accuracy, detail-oriented, knowledge/understanding of bibliographic data, multitasking skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently. Some college; LTA or 2 years experience working in a library, preferably technical services. Working knowledge of OCLC for cataloging or interlibrary loan a plus.
