The Motorola Research Library in Libertyville is seeking an outgoing person to provide front-line customer service to Motorola employees in person, by phone, and via email. Great customer service and attention to detail skills are required. Duties include circulation, shelving and processing of library materials, patron assistance in using the collection, online catalog and databases, and other related clerical tasks. This is a part-time position of 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional hours may be required when providing backup. This is a temporary position (12 to 18 months). Ability to work from established guidelines with supervision; strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills; PC computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook and Word are required. Experience working in a corporate library or knowledge of the Horizon database system would be desirable. Salary starts at $14.50 an hour. Position open until filled.
