Library Assistant Positions, Schaumburg Township District Library

Seeking service-oriented paraprofessionals for a limited number of part–time hours. We are seeking an Information Desk Assistant (Wed 12-4, 2nd Sat 9:30-5, possible Sun) and Information Desk Substitutes (hours vary; as needed for vacation coverage). The Adult Information at the Central Library assists patrons in person and on the telephone in locating materials, registering for programs, retrieving magazines and using meeting rooms. We are also seeking a detail-oriented Interlibrary Loan Assistant (Mon 9-2) to process interlibrary loan requests and fulfill patrons’ need for materials not owned by STDL. All positions start at $11.39 per tour; LTA preferred.
