Reach Forward and Volunteer!

Have you heard of Reaching Forward? It's a great conference just for LTAs, and is always a fun and informative day. Check it out at: http://www.reachingforward.org The Reaching Forward Planning Committee is looking for several volunteers to act as Conference Assistants during this year’s conference. The duties of the assistants include helping to direct attendees around the convention center during the initial arrival time and assisting each program speaker. Conference Assistants will be assigned to two or three different programs depending upon the number of volunteers – one for each time slot. Lunch is provided at no cost and of course there is no registration fee for the conference. Consider volunteering for this fun and worthwhile event. The Assistants are a tremendous help in making the Conference a successful day, and this is a great opportunity for you to see what Reaching Forward is all about. If you are interested in being a volunteer, email Carol Dolin, Programmer at Indian Trails Public Library District (355 S. Schoenbeck Road, Wheeling, IL 60090) at cdolin@indiantrailslibrary.org
